**British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP):**
The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) is designed to expedite the process for individuals seeking Canadian permanent resident status and planning to settle permanently in British Columbia. This program is a collaboration between the British Columbia government and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Interested candidates must go through a two-stage process: applying for nomination by the provincial government and, if nominated, applying for permanent residence through the federal government.

**BCPNP Streams:**
The BCPNP accepts applications through three major categories, each with its own streams:

**1. Skills Immigration Streams:**
   - **Skilled Workers:** For skilled and semi-skilled workers in high-demand occupations in BC.
   - **Health Authority:** Targets healthcare professionals.
   - **International Graduates:** For graduates of Canadian institutions in BC.
   - **International Post-Graduates:** For international post-graduates from Canadian institutions.
   - **Entry-Level and Semi-Skilled Workers:** Targets entry-level and semi-skilled workers in select industries.

**2. Employer Job Offer Category (Express Entry Streams):**
   - These streams allow BC to nominate qualified candidates for admission to Canada under the federal Express Entry immigration arrangement. They include streams for skilled workers, healthcare professionals, international graduates, and international post-graduates.

**3. Entrepreneur Immigration:**
   - Aimed at high-net-worth individuals who wish to invest in and operate a business in BC, leading to permanent settlement. Includes the Entrepreneur Stream, Entrepreneur – Regional Pilot, and Strategic Projects.

**4. BC PNP Tech:**
   - This stream expedites the processing of immigration candidates with in-demand technology occupations in BC. Weekly draws are conducted, and invitations are issued to candidates with work experience in 35 eligible technology occupations. It prioritizes technology sector applications under existing BC immigration streams.

**Targeted Occupations:**
The BC PNP periodically publishes a list of high-demand occupations that it focuses on in targeted draws.

**BC PNP Draws:**
The BC PNP conducts periodic Invitations to Apply for candidates to be nominated under various streams, including Skills Immigration (Skilled Worker, International Graduate, Entry Level and Semi-Skilled), Express Entry BC (Skilled Worker, International Graduate), and Entrepreneur Immigration. These draws select candidates for further processing and potential nomination by the province.
